Research Services staff assist researchers in using the print and manuscript collections in the department both on Special Collections premises and from remote locations via the Internet, telephone, and mail. They are also responsible for shelving, retrieval, and storage of the collections.
Archives and Manuscripts processing staff arrange and describe manuscript materials for use of researchers both on Special Collections premises and from remote locations via the Internet. Senior archival staff also participate in locating and acquiring collections, creating exhibits of the department's materials, and promoting awareness and use of the collections.
