- Your University ID card is your library card.
- In addition to the service desks in all libraries, there is a self-check-out station in Mullins.
- Students may check out books from the MAIN collection for 16 weeks and MAIN bound periodicals for 1 week.

- InfoLinks is the catalog of the University Libraries.
- The catalog includes holdings from Mullins and all branch libraries: Chemistry and Biochemistry, Fine Arts, Physics, and Law.
- Our call number guides help you find the floor that items are shelved on in the MAIN collection.
…locate journal articles?
- Use subject databases to find full-text versions and citations to articles on your topic.
- If you have an article citation, search under journal title in InfoLinks to locate paper or electronic copies of the journal.

- Use your UARK username and password to log into databases and ejournals from off campus.
…read materials my instructor placed on reserve?
- Course reserves can be searched by instructor or course.
- Many reserve readings are available electronically. When prompted, enter your name and UARK username and password. Some reserves readings may also ask for a course password; the password is available from your instructor.
- Print reserves are housed at Mullins and all branch libraries: Fine Arts, Chemistry / Physics, Performing Arts, and Law. Ask us for help if you are not sure where your reserves are housed.

- The University Libraries do not generally buy current course textbooks.
- Your instructor may have placed a copy of your textbook on course reserve. Check the reserves lists under instructor or course name to view items available for your class.
- Current textbooks may not be borrowed on Interlibrary Loan.
...use the group study rooms?
- study room keys are available for checkout at the West Lobby Desk.

...use the computers?
- The Research Commons on Level 2 of Mullins Library offers a general access computer lab staffed by University Information Technology Services (UITS). Reference Librarians are available for research assistance.
- A uark login and password are required to use the Research Commons computers; Reference Librarians can provide guests with access.
- Students may check out laptops for use in Mullins or bring their own laptop and connect to the wireless network.
…borrow materials on Interlibrary Loan?
- ILLiad is the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) system for the University Libraries.
- First-time users of ILLiad will need to create an account.
- On average, photocopied articles and book chapters are delivered electronically within 2 working days; books take a little longer.

- Contact your subject librarian.
- Stop by, call, email, or chat with reference librarians.
- Browse our electronic indexes, abstracts, and journal article collections online.
