How do I….

…check out books?

  • Your University ID card is your library card.
  • Part-time or hourly staff should check with the Mullins Library Circulation Department to make sure that we have your information in our database of borrowers.
  • In addition to the service desks in all libraries, there is a self-check-out station in Mullins.
  • Staff may check out books from the MAIN collection for 16 weeks.

  • Your University ID card can serve as a debit card with Razorbuck$.
  • Copiers are located in the Lindley and Kaneaster Hodges, Jr., Reading Room on Level 2, with additional copiers in the branches and on other floors of Mullins

  • InfoLinks is the catalog of the University Libraries.
  • The catalog includes holdings from Mullins and all branch libraries: Chemistry and Biochemistry, Fine Arts, Physics, and Law.
  • Our call number guides help you find the floor that items are shelved on in the MAIN collection.

…locate journal articles?

  • Use subject databases to find full-text versions and citations to articles on your topic.
  • If you have an article citation, search under journal title in InfoLinks to locate paper or electronic copies of the journal.

....access materials remotely?

  • The Research Commons on Level 2 of Mullins Library offers a general access computer lab staffed by University Information Technology Services (UITS). Reference Librarians are available for research assistance.
  • A UARK login and password are required to use the Research Commons computers; Reference Librarians can provide guests with access.

…borrow materials on Interlibrary Loan?

  • ILLiad is the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) system for the University Libraries.
  • First-time users of ILLiad will need to create an account.
  • On average, photocopied articles and book chapters are delivered electronically within 2 working days; books take a little longer.
