| CAST "focuses on research, education, outreach, and applications in geomatics, including GIS (geographic information systems), geospatial analysis and modeling, high density survey, enterprise spatial databases, remote sensing, digital photogrammetry, geospatial interoperability and other areas." Sponsors tours, workshops, training sessions, to promote the transfer of geospatial technologies to schools, communities, government agencies, and the private sector. | The UALR Community School of the Arts offers non-credit instruction in the arts to students of all ages without audition or formal application. Classes are generally taught in the UALR Fine Arts Building. Children and adults interact with college faculty and professional artists. Instruction is available in acting, drawing, painting, pottery, photography, guitar, piano, flute, violin, viola, cello, bass, saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, voice, percussion, ballet, Chinese language, to name a few. | |

| Shiloh Museum of Ozark History | |

| The museum is dedicated to preserving and studying the history of the Arkansas Ozarks, focusing on six counties in Northwest Arkansas. An education link provides information on discovery boxes available for loan to teachers. Has workshops and videos on local topics. Kids pages have content such as recipes, games, school history, and descriptions of everyday life for children in earlier years. | UALR Children International | |

| Since 1994 Children International has had its only U.S. site at UALR and worked with parents and partners to provide children in the Little Rock Public schools with educational enrichment, health care, and family assistance. The organization helps more than 330,000 children in eleven countries. Among their programs are dental services, assistance with school supplies, summer camps, tutoring, college prep, and leadership. After-school classes include, for example, chess, dance, gospel choir, art, drumming, and fitness. The site describes volunteer and service learning opportunities. | |
