Remote Access from Your Own ISP

About Remote Access

Current students, faculty, and staff may access licensed databases and electronic journals even when they are off campus. If you have an account with a non-UofA Internet Service Provider (ISP), such as AT&T DSL or Cox Cable, you will use your UARK username and password to access these resources.

When you click on a link to a database or to an ejournal from the Libraries' Web site, you will be prompted for your UARK username and password for access to databases:

Remote Access Authentication

To use licensed resources from off-campus, you must either:

  1. Have a current UARK account. Your UARK account is your official University of Arkansas Email username and password.  This is the same username and password that you currently use for email, campus computing labs, AskIT, ISIS, WebCT, BASIS, and other campus systems.

  2. Be a registered with the Libraries as an affiliated faculty or staff member and have a nine-digit UA ID Number. This access method is generally used by Agriculture Extension Service / Experiment Station faculty and staff. Visit our Agriculture Extension Service / Experiment Station information page for details on applying for affliate status.

You can verify your status in the library system by Viewing your Own Library Record in InfoLinks. Then use the Back button on your browser to return to this page.
