Clearing your Browser Cache
Occasionally, your browser "remembers" an error or rejected login page and will not allow you beyond that point into a database.
In these cases, clearing your browser cache and restarting your session will usually resolve the problem.
To clear your cache in Internet Explorer
- Select: Tools
- Select: Internet Options
- On the main General tab, under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files
- Click OK, close all browser windows and start again
Internet Explorer allows you to set your browser to never cache pages. Selecting this setting may slow down some page loads. However, if you wish to eliminate caching:
- Select:Tools
- Select: Internet Options
- On the main General tab, under Temporary Internet Files, click Settings
- Under Check for newer images of stored pages select the radio button for Every visit to the page
- Click OK and then OK again to save your settings
To clear your cache in FireFox / Mozilla
- Click Tools.
- Click Clear Private Data...
- Choose Cache and then Clear private data now
- Close all browser windows and start again

To clear your cache in Netscape 8
- Select Tools
- Select Options
- Choose Privacy
- Expand Cache and then click Clear
- Click OK, close all browser windows and start again
To clear your cache in Netscape 6-7
- Select Edit
- Select Preferences
- Expand Advanced options by clicking on the > arrow tab
- Select Cache
- Click Clear Cache
- Click OK, close all browser windows and start again
Netscape 6-7 allow you to set your browser to never cache pages. Selecting this setting may slow down some page loads. However, if you wish to eliminate caching:
- Select Edit
- Select Preferences
- Expand Advanced options by clicking on the > arrow tab
- Select Cache
- Under Compare the page in cache to the page on the network... choose Every time I view the page.
