Subseries 2. Photographs and Postcards

Items in this subseries are arranged alphabetically, with individual and family photographs followed by photographs of places, organizations and events.  Postcards in this subseries feature photographs of people and places.  In cases where only one or two photographs feature persons with a certain surname, these photographs are located in the miscellaneous persons files.  Three cased photographs, those of Dolly Stevens Rockwell, Mahala Nation Miller and her husband, and Ann Booker's grandmother, are located after other identified photographs. Oversize photographs are in boxes 90, 91, and 92.  Many photographs of early Core family ancestors remain unidentified; these are located after the identified photographs.   For several photographs Dorothy Core filled out descriptive forms; such photographs may be identified by a numbered label.  The descriptions of these photographs are in the last folder of the subseries.  The photograph of Congressman Norrell (Image 380) is located in Folder 18 of Box 86.
